About the Opportunity

FS Tool Corp. is looking for a full-time Red Seal Millwright Supervisor based in Markham, ON. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation and repair of all plant equipment, as well as maintaining plant infrastructure. You will lead and support the maintenance staff, focusing on continuous process and efficiency improvements.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, including electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Reading diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures
  • Installing, aligning, and dismantling industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, sensors, and motors
  • Ensuring standard processes are maintained and followed (e.g., coolant quality control, check valve monitoring, black line water changes)
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records and following up on assigned tasks with completion times for deficiencies
  • Responding to equipment breakdowns using the current maintenance request program (e.g., assigning personnel, recommending replacement parts, repairs)
  • Working with Plant Management on planning and executing long-term projects, including developing tasks, schedules, and milestones to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Ensuring PM Program tasks are followed and completed, tracking and recording daily updates to Plant Management for scheduling PM times on equipment
  • Adjusting, updating, and developing the PM Program with Plant Management, including Operators' PMs

About You

To qualify, you will need a Red Seal certification in a related trade, along with 5+ years of experience. 

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Mechanical background, with experience working in assembly lines, and tool/machine shops 
  • Knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment
  • Some knowledge of PLC controls an asset
